A few days ago, I was approached by producers from Fox TV’s “The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet” for a discussion about The Warrior Diet. I was asked to bring a female testimonial and recommended Brandy Jackson, co-host for our radio show “The Warrior Within”. Brandy lost over 57 pounds in five months (see testimonial at www.warriordiet.com). All through history, men have been debating whether and how to control sex. Ancient Asian societies believed that the semen fluid is sacred, made from the same stuff that the brain is made from, and therefore should be preserved inside the body. Athletes, particularly wrestlers and boxers, have traditionally avoided sex before competition to increase aggression. Does the avoidance of sex promote aggression? Apparently yes, but aggression can be increased by suppressing other things as well, including eating, resting, sleeping, etc. Aggression isn’t always a side effect of testosterone, sometimes it’s a symptom of sheer frustration and stress. A recent report on MSNBC.com - “Baby shampoo study raises chemical concerns” - indeed raises serious concerns regarding the safety of our children in our chemical dependent society. A recent study indicated that certain industrial chemicals, called phthalates, common ingredients in ordinary household products, cosmetics, plastic bottles, toys and in this case baby products, were found in elevated levels in the urine of babies after being shampooed, powdered or lotioned with baby products.
