That magazine caught my eye last Saturday night when we were shopping.
I bought it, and have followed it for 2 days. And I already feel better!
My Friend Beth picked up this magazing and we read through it together. I started following it and, actually, the diet reminds me of the way I used to eat before I started following these fad diets. I feel sooo much better after just a week and a half of eating this way. My energy has spiked up to where I feel myself again. And fit into the size I am more comfortable with. I can't wait to see what 2 months will do for my health.
Confused about the article in First magazine and how it doesn't match with what the book contains.
In the article, it's clear that phase I is for week 1 & 2, phase II for week 3 & 4 and phase III is week 5 & 6.
The book is clear about each phase only lasting one week.
What do I go by? Each phase for one week or two??
I noticed the story on the cover of First magazine and bought it while in the check out line at the grocery store. I read it as soon as I got home and then went back to the grocery store to stock up on the right foods. Now, I've got to get to the book store to buy the book!
I had no idea so much of what I was consuming and was exposed to on a daily basis was so 'estro-toxic' (yes, I know that's not a real word).
As a girl, my mother made sure we ate more fresh foods than processed foods. I continued eating this way for many years; however, I fell into the habit of so called 'convinence foods' when my life took a turn toward the 'hectic'.
I've been fighting the 'battle of the buldge' around my mid section for years and I've tried just about every diet and supplement known to man with minimal results. I had all but given up and was ready to accept my 'jelly belly' as normal, or at least as something I could not control. Now, I believe I can be fit again.
I've only been following the plan for a week, but I already feel better. I had forgotten just how good 'real food' could taste. I've not even been hungry.
I look forward to giving my husband and children a healthier and happier me soon...and also to seeing the difference eating this way will have on them.
Thank you, Ori Hofmekler, for reminding me how to eat. :)
I bought the magazine , I read it over and over and on Oct 29th I took that step - Its Nov 5th and after 7 days of phase 1 , I feel better already ...mood and overall energy - Its simply amazing me . not to mention a weight loss of 14 lbs in one week , I did the naked happydance when I stepped off the scales !! I'll drop in as things progress .Thanks for bringing this knowledge out per a commonly read magazine !
